I don`t think that this is necessary because you can edit the templates and delete it there. (IMO
it`s not usefull to have too many configurations in the adminarea because people can become scared

The top 5 rating

When a picture is rated 8 times with a final 4 points that is les then a picture which is rated 5
times with a final 5 points. I would say The more ratings the more points?

So i think it should be like:

3+4+2+5+5+5+4+4 = 32 points with a average rating of 4 (so it should just display 4 green blocks
like now, following by that number)
5+5+5+5+5 = 25 with a average rating of 5 (5 green blocks, 25 points)

I think if you would make the TOP 5 with the values 25, 32 like that, it would be a real TOP 5.

I hope you understand now what I mean

Another thing about the Edit in ACP, could there be a link (to the picture) or just the picture,
with it so you can see about what the comment was posted?

I just thought about some new things

- In 2.00 (dunno about 2.01) when I make a new category and then want to add a photo it always
takes the first (oldest) category to add the photo's. Because of that I always edit sql and run
that, so that the newest cat will be on top of all old ones

Can't that be easier?

- Import links from a file (for external files) If you want to add like 100 files at a time it
takes so long... (copy, past etc)

- A better way to delete ALL files in a category, now it displays 20 pics a page (ACP) and if I
delete a category all pics are still in sql.

- A "search" form, select the category you would like to search on and then display the pics in a
result of that cat. (I name all files in numbers, so easy to find - but each category has about
200-500 pics with a total of 6500 pics right now :P) Btw I solved the problem I was limited to,
just made more then 1 PS install

I think that are my ideas for now... Good Luck! I hope to see the changes soon, then I might take
the time to update the ps's to 2.0*

Yes, but i can`t imagine that it`s ordered like that

Because i sort it with average rating descending and the second point is the number of votes. So
higher rated pics are always in front of lower rated, also if the lower rated has much more rates.
btw: i coded it completly different in the new version, so at least then the bug (if it is even
there) will be fixed

i have already changed that. you will be able to set default-values for all pictures you will
insert.

ähm..i don`t really know what you mean.

you are already able to upload files with your ftp-client and insert all (or nearly all ;)) at the
same time. So what do you copy and paste?

yes, i think so, too. Therefor i`ve changed that. I don`t know if it is the way you think, but i
like it

I have just checked that again, and your right...if you delete a category no pictures will be
deleted (i have done that but made a mistake, so it does not work =))

do you mean in the adminarea or in the output?
ok, however, in the new version it will be available a search-function in the output and a
small-search-function in the adminarea, too.

About the link import think. I mean, a TXT file with pictures you wanna import (I could do so in
SQL ofcourse - just put it in) from a EXTERNAL website. So not the dir pics...

That not a big hurry btw, just as I thought of it

About that new version you are talking about, is that 2.01? Or even a newer one? I would really
like to have it all

it`s already in 2.01 possible to add up to 50 pictures from other servers at once.
I think therefore its not necessary to have the txt-import-feature, or what do you think?

(In 2.02 you can also set default-values for all pictures you`ll insert)

With "new" version I meant 2.02

For me it is really necessary to have the txt-import-feature. I make Photo-Shoots (as we call them
- sessions) with a about 400 each. Sometimes somebody else is hosting them, then I have to add it
all in sql... That sucks

And bout 2.02, is a release date set yet? I'm looking forward to it!

ok, i understand that

I`ll think about adding this feature.
But at the moment it is limited to 50 pictures at once (from other servers). This has no special
reason, but i thought this is enough for everyone :-O

therefore, would you also be pleased if i set the limit to 500?

hehe..i am nearly finished now with all points i (and others ;)) wanted to add. therefore, i think,
i can release it monday or tuesday.
but this is of course also depending on adding the txt-import feature or not

to put every single photo url in a box? (so copy paste the url in a box for every single photo -
cause that sucks)

Hmmm, you did all that fast btw! If the import function makes it 1 day longer I can wait

But if it
takes a week you should probably realease 2.02 now (as fast as possible) and include the txt import
in the next. I can deal with the sql for 2 weeks or longer, no problem

hm..i think it would be better if i release it "now" and integrate the txt-import feature probably
in the next version. But i am not sure about that because i think that not so many people would use
that.
Perhaps i have an idea for a different and better solution

but i will set the number of pics at once to 500 in version 2.02.
